Geography: Located against the Swan Range of the Rocky Mountains, nestled against a bay where the Swan River flows into Flathead Lake.  Glacier National Park, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Swan Wilderness are all nearby and offer endless recreational opportunities.

Transportation: Located on Montana Highway 35 near the intersection of Hwy 209.  Bigfork is approximately 18 miles from Kalispell, MT and 83 miles north of Missoula, MT.  Glacier Park International Airport is about 20 miles away between Kalispell and Columbia Falls.

Weather: Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 71° in June, 81° in July, and 80° in August, with average lows in the high 40s and low 50s.  May and June usually have the most rainfall with an average of 2.9 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 35° in December, 33° in January, and 37° in February, with average lows in the low 20s.  The average snowfall in December and January is about 15 inches.
