Geography: The town of Troy is located along the western bank of the Kootenai River, which flows north going into Idaho and British Columbia.  Troy has the lowest elevation in Montana at 1888 feet.  It is located 15 miles west of Libby, 110 miles west of Kalispell on Hwy 2.
