Geography: Roundup rests on the north edge of the Bull Mountains in the Musselshell River Valley.

Transportation: Located 46 miles north of Billings on US Hwy 87.

Weather:  Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 79° in June, 89° in July, and 87° in August, with average lows in the high 40s to low 50s.  June usually has the most rainfall with an average of 2.58 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 38° in December, 36° in January, and 41° in February, with average lows in the low teens.  The average snowfall in December and January is 5  inches.
