Geography: Wilsall, Montana is located between the Bridger Mountain Range and the Crazy Mountains. The Shields River runs east of town to the Yellowstone River.

Transportation: Wilsall is located on US Hwy 89, just south of the junction of MT hwy 86. Wilsall is 24 miles north of Livingston.

Weather:  Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 72° in June, 82° in July, and 81° in August, with average lows in the mid 40s.  June usually has the most rainfall with an average of 2.5 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 36° in December, 32° in January, and 36° in February, with average lows in the single digits and low teens. The average snowfall in December is 3.4 inches and January is 11.6  inches.
