Transportation: Located on Hwy 200; 28 miles west of Lincoln, 51 miles east of Missoula, and 88 miles southwest from Helena. Missoula International Airport is the closest airport.

Weather:  Average high temperature in the summer ranges from 71° in June, 82° in July, and 81° in August, with average lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.  June usually has the most rainfall with an average of 2.2 inches. The average high temperature in the winter ranges from 30° in December, 27° in January, and 33° in February, with average lows in the single digits and low teens. The average snowfall per month in December and January is 18 inches.
