Montana is probably best known for its blue ribbon
trout streams, its fine elk hunting in the Rocky Mountains, or the
trophy antelope and mule deer hunting in the farm and ranchland to the
east. Whether you're a Montana native, or this is the first time
you've seen the word montana, you'll find there is something here for
everyone.

As a child growing up in Northwest Montana my
memories include floating the Thompson River, hiking in Glacier
National Park, backpacking in and camping near Wildcat Lake in the
Jewel Basin, and climbing the trees in my own backyard. Now that
I'm an adult and making my own adventure, I see that Montana has so
much more to offer than what I experienced as a child. A person
could spend their whole life exploring Montana, yet hardly even
scratch the surface.
Our plan for Montana Outdoors Directory is to
provide a comprehensive resource for the outdoor enthusiast looking to
experience "Big Sky Country". Today you will find a detailed
hunting and fishing directory, information about hunting and fishing
areas, and an on-line bookstore covering all outdoor related Montana
activities, and a group of forums including hunting, fishing,
shooting, archery, hiking, canoeing, rafting, kayaking, boating, and
snowmobiling.
Pour a cup of coffee, sit back, and learn something
new. The only way to experience Montana is to experience
it for yourself. We hope this site will guide you on your next
adventure. Before you leave, share some of your Montana memories
with us.
